This year, we introduced a bold New Era for our brand, our iconic ambassador Miranda Kerr, and continued to evolve our store experience with new global flagship boutiques. Alongside this, we’ve made strides in sustainability through the launch of the Michael Hill Foundation, and celebrated new jewellery collections, making this a year to remember. Launching the New Era and Global Flagships
In April we unveiled The New Era of Michael Hill. A fresh new look, complete with contemporary colour palette and new brandmark, signalled the next chapter for Michael Hill as we remain dedicated to helping people mark life’s most meaningful moments. With a deep and ongoing commitment to our heritage of craft and creativity, our New Era takes inspiration from our earliest days and our birthplace, New Zealand. The elevated New Era of Michael Hill is embodied in our immersive new Global Flagship boutiques, in Chadstone and Bourke Street, Melbourne, and Queenstown, New Zealand.

Welcoming Miranda Kerr as Brand Ambassador
We were thrilled to welcome supermodel, mother, and entrepreneur Miranda Kerr as our new Brand Ambassador. Miranda’s timeless elegance, entrepreneurial spirit, and deep connection to sustainability make her the perfect embodiment of the Michael Hill ethos. A true icon, she shares our antipodean roots, which remain an integral part of her identity, and we are honoured to partner with her in celebrating both the legacy and future of our brand.
Launching The Michael Hill Foundation
In 2024, we launched The Michael Hill Foundation, reinforcing our unwavering commitment to social responsibility. With two core focuses—Empowering Women and Restoring Nature—we aim to create lasting change. Since its launch, the Foundation has raised over $550,000, helping empower over 10,000 women through our partnerships, and planting more than 80,000 trees across Australia, New Zealand and Canada in partnership with One Tree Planted. We are steadfast in our pursuit of our 2030 Goals: empowering 100,000 women and planting 1 million trees.
Redefining Modern Luxury with New Collections
This year, we expanded our collection offerings with elevated and fashion-forward designs. The exclusive Signature Lock and Signature Diamond ranges offer uniquely crafted pieces and our High Jewellery collections, with their opulent designs, perfectly capture the elevated spirit of the New Era, while our Pendant Bar collection invites customers to create bespoke, personalised jewellery—perfect for marking life's most meaningful moments.
Making Sustainability Achievements
Our dedication to sustainability has been stronger than ever. We have made tremendous progress towards our 2030 Goals, achieving the following milestones:
100% of our Australian stores are powered by sources that support renewable energy projects in Australia;
The introduction of Australian gold, with a selection of traceable pieces crafted entirely from gold originating from Australia;
Through our gold recycling program, we’ve reduced carbon emissions by over 65,000 kgs;
We’ve taken key steps towards our zero waste commitment to reduce the amount of packaging going to landfill;
Our re:store program has expanded, offering expert jewellery repairs to extend the life of your beloved pieces.

This year has also seen us forge new and exciting partnerships, with notable collaborations including our sponsorship of the GQ Men of the Year Awards, celebrating the best in fashion, art, and culture. We were also proud to work with Sydney-based artist Dina Broadhurst, who created a bespoke piece for our Chadstone flagship, honouring both our heritage and our future. Additionally, we teamed up with The Bridal Journey to showcase our beautifully crafted jewellery collections and exclusive designs.
